These are six of my favorite photos that I have taken these past two years. I like taking photos of sunsets and flowers, as you could probably tell. All of these photos are originals, except I cropped the sunset with the parachuter. I like having the contrast between light and dark. The contrast will usually catch my eye, and as a result I'll take a picture to try to capture what I see. The contrast gives me a sense of hope, which is something that everyone needs in this life. I try to capture moments like that, so I can feel the warmth of that in my life.

  2. I love your close-up rose shot, because the focus is sharp and I cannot see any background. The color variation in the petals is beautiful. I like that is so close, it almost looks abstract. The lighting and color looks stunning on all your photos. Nice work!

  4. I like the texture in pink flower and it has a nice depth of field. Same with ecuador. Close up rose is just gorgeous.

  5. I can tell from your photos that you know how to make a photo into a great photograph using design elements. You know when to play the rule of thirds and when to center things. I really like the difference in the flower pictures. It is amazing how you can take such similar subjects and get completely different feels from them! Great Job!

  6. My favorite picture that you included was the sunset picture. I love how the sky is so orange and then fades to a light then dark blue. Stunning! I also enjoyed your close up of the rose. Sometimes I don't try taking pictures of things from different angles, so it was neat that you included two different shots taken with different perspectives of the same subject.
